Breaking down the benchmark product allowed me to understand how existing air purifiers resolve airflow, structure, and user interaction. The goal was to identify what works mechanically and where opportunities exist to rethink mobility, modularity, and spatial integration.

Concept Development
Being able to incorporate ‘Nomadic’ design language as a solution to stagnant, single-location air purifiers—while ensuring it still feels soft, architectural, and at home in any space—was the goal. The challenge was embedding mobility and modular functionality without compromising visual harmony.
ValidationCFD visualization was used to inform aerodynamic decisions and test diffuser geometry before physical prototyping. Within that process, interpreting velocity gradients, recirculation zones, and pressure distribution became critical to optimizing outlet efficiency.
